art pieces
Sneak peeks at my current work in progress. Excited to share the final products this Fall! Click here to see finished works!

deconstructed series
These vases begin as symmetrical wheel-thrown pieces and, once set just enough, I alter them to create an intentional asymmetry. I then deconstruct the original shape and rebuild each piece from the bottom up, resulting in a form with organic, sculptural balance.

raku
Raku firing is an unpredictable process, moving pieces through extreme temperature changes to produce one-of-a-kind surface effects. I work with techniques including Obvara, Naked Raku, and Raku glaze, each offering its own visual character. Because the results can’t be replicated, every piece carries its own distinct story.

decorative pieces
My decorative work ranges widely in form, color, and texture, from small vases to large statement pieces. I often follow the flow of the clay, letting my hands shape whatever form feels right in the moment. Larger pieces hold a special place in my heart as they challenge me to push the limits of both my craft and the size of my kiln.

functional ware
Over the past five years, I refined my skills through making functional ware with pieces like ramen bowls, mugs, and salt pigs that became favorites at Bay Area craft fairs. While I’m no longer focusing on restocking these items, they remain available through custom work. Each piece is still made with the same attention to detail and care.

wall art (2020)
Although not rooted in pottery, this early work reflects my first explorations in mixed media and form. The textures, composition, and experimentation you see here echo the style present in my current ceramics. These pieces mark the starting point of a creative path I continue to follow today.
